Final Fantasy Papercraft - Cactuar
Oi paperkraft netizens, here's another Final Fantasy paper model, this green cactus-looking character is the Cactuar (also known as Cactuer, Qactuar, Cactrot, and Sabotender). It's main features are two black dot-eyes, an oblong shape mouth, three red quills on the top of their head, and their trademark pose, stiff arms and legs. On the Final Fantasy video games (FF VIII) they are best known for their 1,000 Needles (Defensive attack), which deals exactly 1,000 hit points of damage to an oponent, regardless of defenses. There was also a Jumbo Cactuar that had the 10,000 Needles attack, which was kinda like an instant-death attack since prior to FF X the maximum number of hit points for a character in FF is limited to 9999. If you noticed that my Cactuar is of a different color (blueish top, green legs) and not solid green, don't panic, it's because mine is of a different breed, it's a color-shifting Cactuar (also known as Printerus Hasno Inkus). This paper model stands about 6" tall and 4" wide and comes with a stand (not shown).

So close to Christmas day, everybody's dropping off their presents today and this one is from designer Chamoo232. From the Final Fantasy IX video game, Garnet is the main heroine of the game and Princess of Alexandria. She's a white mage that doubles as a summoner (Eidolons).

Eiko (aka Eiko Carol) is a character from the Final Fantasy IX video game, she is a six-year old girl living in Madain Sari (lost village of the Eidolon Summoners). She was into thievery (w/ her Moogles) before she joined the party. Along with Garnet, they are the last two remaining summoners.

Steiner (aka Adelbert Steiner), is the honorable yet clumsy knight captain in Alexandria's only male soldier military group, the Knights of Pluto. He's a sworn protector of the Queen of Alexandria and is an extremely loyal bodyguard to princess Garnet.

Final Fantasy IX - Vivi papercraft
Chamoo
For a while I wanted to do a character nice and colorful and finally I did it Vivi from the game Final Fantasy IX. It's in a three page template and would take about 7-8 hours of work to build this 6 inch tall masterpiece. For those who don't know him that well, Vivi Orunitia is one of the most popular character from Final Fantasy IX, he is a Black Mage who gets entangled in Tantalus' plan to kidnap Princess Garnet when he travels to Alexandria. He has a black skin of unknown material, no visible facial features - except for his distinctive glowing yellow eyes, and he has the ability to cast magic without training. Vivi is just nine years old but is incredibly powerful and mature for his age.
